About the wine
Fertile and enchanting landscapes in Veneto give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Cantina Benini Alessandro conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this garganega with light antipasti or poultry.
Bio
Tasting note
Delicate straw yellow. Intense, citrusy on the nose with hints of white flowers (chamomile). Voluminous and full on the finish. Fresh and enveloping, it is characterized by its length on the palate.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler is recommended for pasta, light antipasti and poultry. Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for organic white wine is a slightly chilled temperature of 8°-10°C.
Vinification
Made from a blend of three different Soave layers. The grapes are harvested by hand in boxes weighing 20 kg. They are then pressed until soft and the must is clarified by decanting. The must ferments for 10 days in steel tanks with a controlled temperature. After fermentation is complete, the wine is left to rest on the yeast in steel tanks for five months (30% of which are in new French barriques), weekly bâtonnage. In April, just before bottling, the wine is cut, filtered and bottled.
