Chardonnay is now a global brand. From the eponymous town in Burgundy, it has conquered the world's vineyards and beguiled rows of wine connoisseurs around the globe with its sweet charm. Chardonnay is everywhere – hot or cold – from Australia to Cyprus. It is the most adaptable grape in the world. Since it is naturally low in aroma, the different growing regions as well as different cellar techniques, have a significant influence on the taste of the wine. Therefore, Chardonnay is difficult to define – only tasting and trying helps!
