About the wine
Fertile and beautiful landscapes of the coastal region give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the South African winery Paul Cluver Wine Estate conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. If Valentine's Day were a wine, it would certainly be the dominant red wine in 2016 — Seven Flags Pinot Noir of Elgin WO. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this Pinot Noir with salmon or red meat.
2020 - 2026
Tasting note
The Seven Flags Pinot Noir of Elgin WO aromas of mushrooms and caramel candy express a lot of finesse with a very unique structure. Afterwards, the refreshing nuances of raspberry, cherry and vanilla reveal their own character. That stays in the memory: Its rich ruby red lends an extravagant touch to any occasion. Medium-bodied and dominant acidity result in the fruity red wine, which shows a lot of character and class, pleasantly with fine tannins in the mouth.
