Tasting note
A wine of dark, deep cherry red color; floral notes (rose, violet, peony) rise to the nose and aromas of ripe red fruits, especially cherries, along with a spicy hint of licorice. The palate shows intense, complex aromas with fine wood aspects. Firm, restrained tannins structure this wine, which is as strong as it is refined.
Culinary recommendation
Complements stewed meat dishes perfectly and also goes well with poultry, entrecote, a homemade hamburger and soft cheeses such as brie and camembert.
