About the wine

Founded in 1936, the Palamà winery is located on the sun-drenched Salento Peninsula in Puglia. In the early days, the wine produced there was sold exclusively in the surrounding osterias. In 1988, Cosimo, known as Nini, and Donato, the two sons of founder Michele Arcangelo Palamà, took over the management and modernized the business. From then on, they began to press their wine under their own name. Through a strict selection of vines and sites, combined with traditional wine-growing techniques, they increasingly increased the quality of the wines. 75 Vendemmie is dedicated to the founder and father Arcangelo when he fell in love with the vineyards and their fruits in 1936. 75 years later, with this intensive, single-varietal Negroamaro, the work of the sons and grandchildren continues with the same passion in the vineyard and in the cellar.
