About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the German winery Hanspeter Ziereisen masters this red wine in the blooming and sunny landscape in Baden. We have a special, strong red wine from 2017 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. Flaschenpost team promises a dining experience when you serve this Pinot Noir with duck or red meat.

Tasting note
Deep, dense and full-bodied bouquet with the typical Pinot Noir notes of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and cherries. A subtle note of pepper and liquorice round off the portfolio. On the palate, it is velvety, elegant with fine-grained yet present tannins. The well-integrated minerals lead to an exciting, pure and long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, Mediterranean cuisine, mushrooms and veal.
Vinification
The very old Pinot Noir grapes are fermented spontaneously. After a six to eight week mash contact, the Pinot Noir Jasper 10⁴ matures on the lees for up to 24 months. It is bottled without fining or filtration and left to mature in the bottle for another three years.
