About the wine
Our story begins in 1956 with grandparents Guido and Giuseppina. The two great-grandchildren Alessandro and Alberto “Berto” now own 28 ha, and they continue to run the winery with love and passion.

Tasting note
Red cherries, cooked plums, as well as vanilla, cedar and tobacco aromas are fused in me. My whiff of milk chocolate and my impressive depth will enchant you. I'm a masterpiece that shows how fantastic the Nice terroir actually is.
Culinary recommendation
Enjoy me with red meat, sauce dishes or Sunday roasts.
Vinification
Since 2014, the Nizza DOCG appellation has existed around the city of Nizza Monferrato, which was founded by renowned winemakers in 2002. Nice covers 18 municipalities and may only be planted with Barbera. It expresses the Grand Cru terroir in an excellent way. I am not profitable because I produce just 6 - 7 liters per square meter, which makes me appear very concentrated. 9-10 liters of wine would be allowed. After 7 days of maceration, I mature in French tonneaux for 18 months.
