Tasting note
On the nose, the Chianti Riserva is powerful with lots of dark berries, violets, Mediterranean herbs, coffee, licorice, pepper and cedarwood. Rich on the palate with nice depth, dense but soft tannin structure and pleasant acidity. Due to the long aging in the bottle, Sangiovese is already at the beginning of its drinking age!

Vinification
Manual harvesting in small boxes and initial selection directly in the vineyard. As soon as the grapes arrive in the cellar, they are selected a second time. Fermentation takes place in a concrete tank. Chianti is then aged for twelve months in 500-liter tonneaux and 25-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels. After bottling, the wine ages in the bottle for a further 24 to 30 months before being sold.
