About the wine
The San Fabiano Calcinaia winery is located in the middle of Tuscany on the hills of the Chianti area. It covers 165 ha in Poggibonsi and Castellina in Chianti. Guido and Isa Serio have owned the company since 1983 and have dedicated themselves to the production of authentic, top-class wines. In 2009, they began switching to organic production.

Tasting note
That will be remembered: Its rich ruby red lends an extravagant touch to any occasion. Cellole Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG's spicy bouquet of black pepper, spices and tobacco cleverly plays with your sense of smell. Afterwards, playful nuances of red plum, strawberry and fig resolutely and consciously convince your senses of taste. With dominant-rich tannins, a strong body and outstanding acidity, this red wine presents its impeccable quality.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with heavy meat dishes such as roasts, bistecca fiorentina, grilled meats and game.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled mash fermentation for approx. 15-20 days, young wine ageing in steel tanks, then 24 months in barriques and 6 months aging in bottle.
