About the wine
You will certainly have a lot of fun with the fine Cava Gran Reserva 150 Brut. The landscape in Catalonia is barren, whose breathtaking expanses don't fit on a postcard, but in a bottle. With a lot of feeling and experience, the winemaker from the Spanish winery Vallformosa ensures that his craft inspires and convinces you.
Tasting note
This Cava Gran Reserva has a bright golden yellow color. On the nose, elegant aromas of white fruits, citrus, sweet flowers, yeast and some brioche inspire. On the palate, the fine perlage, the elegant fruit, the fine spiciness and an animating freshness inspire. An extremely balanced cava with a long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitifs, pure enjoyment, antipasti and starters of all kinds.
Vinification
This cava was pressed in honor of Vallformosa's 150th anniversary. After harvesting, the Xarel-lo grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks. 10% of the wine then matures for 3 months in French barriques on the lees, the rest matures in stainless steel tanks. The second fermentation traditionally takes place in the bottle. The wine matures on the lees in the bottle for at least 30 months before being disgorged.
