This outstanding Nebbiolo 2012 — Barolo Rocchettevino DOCG crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. Sunny and picturesque landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Oberto - Ciabot Berton conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Nebbiolo is great with truffle risotto or burrata.

Tasting note
The Nebbiolo grapes from the Rocchettevino vineyard are grown separately pressed. The south-west facing plot is located on 400 meters altitude. The soil is characterized by clay and sand. The vines are on average 15 years old. True to The style of the house will also make this Barolo traditional aged, i.e. with long maceration (18 to 20 days) in cement tanks and a two-year expansion in 5,000 Litre Slavonian oak barrels. The result is a Wine of great depth with a subtly fine and wide diversified flavor complexity. It works well on the palate mature and soft tannins balanced and accessible. The production is 3,000 bottles.

Vinification
Ein paar Worte zur Vinifikation: Die Nebbiolo-Trauben der Lage Rocchettevino werden separat gekeltert. Die südwestlich ausgerichtete Parzelle liegt auf 400 Meter Höhe. Der Boden ist durch Lehm und Sand geprägt. Die Reben sind durchschnittlich 15 Jahre alt. Getreu dem Stil des Hauses wird auch dieser Barolo traditionell ausgebaut, das heisst mit langer Maischung (18 bis 20 Tage) in Zementtanks und einem zweijährigen Ausbau in 5000- Liter-Fässern aus slawonischer Eiche. Die Produktion beträgt 3000 Flaschen.
