About the wine

The outstanding Nebbiolo 2018 — Barolo del Comune die Barolo DOCG is the missing piece of the puzzle in your wine rack. Tasting note
This Barolo has a deep garnet red color. On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruits, some cassis, rose petals, mint, violets and some blood orange inspire. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and graceful with red fruit aromas, sweet notes of flowers, velvety tannins and juicy acidity. An extremely finesse Barolo with a silky texture and a long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
With hearty meat dishes, Italian specialities, stews, stews, game and cheese.
Vinification
The Nebbiolo grapes come from the Castellero, Preda and Coste di Rose vineyards. The vines are rooted there on various east and south-west facing slopes at 250-270 meters above sea level on a calcareous and final clay soil with fossil marl and a 30% slope. All vines are cultivated according to organic guidelines. After handpicking, the grapes are destemmed, carefully mashed and fermented in oak barrels using natural yeasts. The wine is aged for 30 months in large oak barrels with a capacity of 15-30 hectoliters before the wine is bottled and aged in the bottle for at least a further 12 months.
