About the wine
Brovia is one of the best Barolo producers in Piedmont and cultivates large individual vineyards such as Villero, Rocche di Castiglione and Garblét Sue. These Nebbiolo plants are characterized by high quality, unique elegance, strong character and great ripening potential.
Tasting note
Pure and varietal aromas of dark cherries and ripe plums, which are accompanied by a floral note as well as a touch of coffee, cinnamon and some dark chocolate. Dense structure, lots of juiciness and soft tannins on the palate. Dark fruit aromas persist for a long time.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Barbera D'Alba DOC Sorì Del Drago passt bestens zu Piemonteser Gerichten, Eintöpfen und kräftigem, dunklem Fleisch.
Vinification
After a short maceration period at around 28°C, the hand-picked grapes are fermented for about a week. The wine is then stored in stainless steel tanks for 15 to 18 months before being bottled and sold.
