About the wine

The Vaudois Chablais begins at Villeneuve. On the northern slopes of this pre-alpine region, on the rubble cones (limestone and marl soils) above Villeneuve, Yvorne, Aigle, Ollon and Bex in the blazing hot sun and under the favourable influence of the hair dryer, wonderful grapes ripen. Yvorne wines owe their special character precisely to this buried terrain, which is still very young from a geological point of view.
