Tasting note
Pale yellow Elegant and complex even in the scent, a wide melange of ripe tropical fruits, fine recutive yeast notes, subtle roasted aromas and lots of saltiness. Elegant body with beautiful enamel, complex fruiting, lots of play and liveliness with an equally balanced structure, a long, salty-mineral finish.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Weissburgunder Ried Kreidestein passt ideal zu gebratenem Geflügel, Pulpo und Tapas. Unsere Empfehlung: Der Weisswein schmeckt am besten bei leicht gekühlten 12°-14°C. Im folgenden Zeitraum liegt die ideale Genussphase dieses Weins: Jetzt bis 2028.
Vinification
Selective hand harvesting, rebelling and light crushing, maceration overnight, gentle pressing, natural fermentation and malolactic fermentation followed by 12-month aging on yeast in 500l oak barrels (50% new), bottled in December 2018
