About the wine

Bierzo is located in Castilla y León near Galicia, almost at the gates of Santiago de Compostela from the perspective of the Camino de Santiago. The small paradise is surrounded by protective hills and benefits from a mild microclimate. The main grape variety is the autochthonous Mencía grape. It produces finesse and elegant red wines on first-class vineyards. The Estefania winery is young, founded in 2000, but has old to very old vines. The first plantings date back to 1911! They work with natural yeasts and careful aging in French oak. The Tilenus from the Florida steep slope shows precise, delicious red berry fruit. A wine of Burgundian brilliance.
