About the wine
We have a special, dominant Corvina from 2013 for you, which is loved by many wine connoisseurs. The winemaker from the Italian winery Santi has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and refinement are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the beautiful and fertile countryside of Veneto. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Corvina with venison or roast meat.
Tasting note
Dense, almost black dark red, with garnet red reflections. Typical and very elegant, floral, with vanilla, sour cherry, “balsamic vinegar” and ripe fruit aromas. Dry, warm, strong aromas with an elegant, spicy taste. Long-lasting finish with toast bread aromas, harmonious, full-bodied and balanced.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with cold meat platters, Italian antipasti and cuisine, coq au vin, pot roast, game feathered game, soft and semi-hard cheeses.
Vinification
Die Vinifikation fand wie folgt statt: Handgelesene Ernte während der ersten Oktoberdekade. Die Weinbereitung beginnt mit einer Mazeration von 14 Tagen während der der Most regelmässig über den Tresterhut gerührt wird.
