About the wine
Blooming and sunny landscapes in Puglia give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Domiziano San Marco conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. This provocative Negroamaro 2013 — Salice Salentino Riserva DOP is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Negroamaro is ideal to serve with venison goulash or pasta bolognese.
Tasting note
The Salice Riserva shines with a strong ruby red color in the glass. On the nose, it is very open with notes of black currant, licorice and vanilla. On the palate, wonderfully integrated tannins and a flattering melt. Harmonious with a fruity-intensive finish.

Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Salice Salentino Riserva DOP harmoniert ideal mit Rehgulasch, Maultaschen und Pasta Bolognese.
Vinification
After two weeks of maceration at 27°C in horizontal stainless steel rotary tanks, Salice Riserva is aged for 9 to 12 months in Allier and Tronçais oak barriques, followed by 12 months of aging in the bottle.
