The Schäfer-Fröhlich family cultivates 24 ha of vineyards in wonderful hills on the Nahe; 6 ha on the steep Bockenauer Felseneck slope forms the main location. The different rock soils form the basis for authentic, wonderfully mineral wines. Tim Fröhlich, who has received numerous awards and honors (e.g. winemaker of the year), has a fascinating range of white wines. The fascination of high-class Riesling aromas is decisively influenced by soil composition; in this example, volcanic stone influences the complexity.
