About the wine
The stately estate in Flemlingen was owned by the Counts von der Leyen until the 16th century. The Minges family has been managing the property for eight generations now and, according to their own statement, is associated with the fascination of winemaking. Their aim is to skilfully bottle the minerality of the diverse soils and the character of the grape varieties.

Tasting note
Clear, still somewhat restrained fruit aromas on the nose. A straight-lined, tasty Riesling with elegant maturity and lovely juiciness.
Culinary recommendation
Zu indischer Küche, Ente und asiatischem Essen empfehlen Ihnen die Flaschenpöstler diesen Riesling Hölle Unterer Faulenberg GG.
Vinification
After manual harvesting, the selected grapes are subjected to an eight-hour maceration period. After gentle and slow pressing, the wine ferments in a temperature-controlled stainless steel tank, where it is then stored on whole yeast (without stirring up the yeast) for ten months.
