About the wine

A heartfelt project by Paolo Panico and Giuliano Frollani. Paolo inherited the vineyards from his mother Clementina Principe; in the past, these grapes went into some of Bolgheri's very big names and most famous wines. The sites are not only located in the heart of the growing region, but are also in the immediate vicinity of Ornellaia, Tenuta San Guido and Le Macchiole. Giuliano was there from the start when wine history was written here in the 90s. Back then, while still an agronomist, he planted a large part of the vineyards for the most famous wineries in the region. He now owns Casa di Terra, one of the most modern wineries in the region, a place where people believe in new technologies and change, where sustainable production is carried out, both in terms of energy supply and the use of resources. New wines have also been produced when it comes to wines: spontaneous fermentation, less extraction and only a small amount of virgin wood during aging. Fruit, elegance, freshness and drinkability should be in the foreground here.
