Tasting note
The grapes for this “late harvest” are harvested by hand in several stages when overripe, only at the end of October/beginning of November. On the nose, there are inviting aromas of dried apricots, candied oranges and ripe pineapple, underlined with notes of spring honey and subtle floral notes. On the palate, it shows juicy, sweet apricot fruit, delicately nutty, with a well-supporting acid structure and fine spiciness.
Culinary recommendation
A great accompaniment to spicy gorgonzola and other blue cheese, apricot tart-tatin or crêpes suzettes, but also simply enjoyed as a fruity-sweet treat.
