Tasting note
Rich ruby red — profound, complex and beguiling nose with aromas of ripe red cherries, cloves and the herbaceous note typical of the grape variety, which comes from the so-called “pyrazines”. The palate is strong and well-structured and in turn shows lots of ripe red and black berry fruit as well as distinctive fynbos notes. The fine-grained tannin holds the complex fruit together perfectly until the long finale.

Zu Ravioli, Lammfleisch und Wild empfehlen Ihnen die Flaschenpöstler diesen Pondok Rug Cabernet Franc. Unsere Empfehlung: Der Rotwein schmeckt am besten bei leicht gekühlten 16°-18°C. Der Wein sollte in diesem Zeitraum genossen werden: Jetzt bis 2032.
Vinification
Angaben über Vinifizierung: Alle Trauben die verarbeitet wurden kommen von der Farm selbst. Umsichtig wurden sie nach und nach zum pefekten Reifezeitpunkt von Hand geerntet und separat vinifiziert. Die Fermentation fand in der traditionellen Methode in offenen Fermentern statt. 20 Monate reifet der Wein in französischem Holz, bevor er ungefiltert auf die Flasche gefüllt wurde. Es wurden nur 895 Flaschen produziert.
