About the wine
The Riegele Michaeli derives his name from the Bavarian Brewing Code of 1516. This stated that only between Michaeli, the day of St. Michael and Georgi, the day of St. Georg was allowed to be brewed. The reason was the increased temperatures in the summer months. In order to be able to drink beer until the next brewing season, it was brewed with increased original wort and special hops and cooled with blocks of ice in the beer cellars. Fresh ice cream could usually be whipped until March, which is also where the name Märzen comes from. A particularly elegant beer creation in a champagne bottle, sparkling on the first drink, velvety in texture and fruity in memory. With an elegant lychee, grapefruit and mandarin note.
