About the wine

Merino sheep live in harmony with the vines and the surrounding forests on Casa Relvas wineries. From harvest to shoot, their sheep spend their days grazing to naturally control weed growth. This means that they don't have to use chemical herbicides or machinery in the vineyards during the winter to keep the effects low and keep our soils in good condition. Today, 400 sheep support the Casa Relvas ecosystem to ensure they achieve their goals in sustainable viticulture.
