This Solera, consisting of around 50% Pinot Noir, 40% Meunier and 10% Chardonnay, includes vintages dating back to 1982. This cuvée is based on the 2019 vintage. The wines are married together and then aged together for a year in large wooden barrels before being bottled. The complex bouquet shows aromas of ripe pears, baked apples, dried apricots and candied citrus fruits, accompanied by notes of nuts, dried herbs and honey, plus a finely spicy yeast touch. Complex and complex on the palate, with juicy fruit and lovely freshness. The ripe tones of Solera are reflected in the finale with a wonderful nuttiness. It takes some time and space to fully develop.
