About the wine
The landscape of the Bündner Herrschaft is mountainous and hilly, whose fascinating expanses don't fit on a poster, but in a bottle. With a lot of feeling and experience, the winemaker from the Swiss winery Weinbau von Salis ensures that his craft inspires and convinces you. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2018, it will be this dominant white wine 2013 — Malanser Pinot Gris. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this pinot gris with ceviche or sushi.

Tasting note
This will be remembered: Its noble golden yellow first pleases the eye and then the mind. The bouquet of almond, honey and ginger flirts skillfully with your sense of smell. Afterwards, playful nuances of lime and green apple will resolutely and consciously convince your taste buds. A semi-dry white wine with a light body and dominant acidity, which develops its individual structure on the tongue and palate.

A wine that is fun as an aperitif, but also goes very well with starters with fruit or cheese.
Vinification
A few words about vinification: Short maceration time at 5°C. Fermentation with pure-bred yeasts at 15-17°C in stainless steel tanks.
