About the wine

In 1948, the Cottinelli s, who immigrated from Italy, pressed the first Chur Blauburgunder; in the 1970s, they moved to Malans. Today, Cottinelli cultivates a total of 22 hectares of vineyards from Maienfeld to Chur. The company invests a great deal of time and commitment in viticulture, cellar technology and handling barriques. Intensive efforts to improve quality, the conviction that the quality of a wine starts in the vineyard, the careful use of natural resources and consistent implementation with the intention of natural, integrated production are reflected in the quality of the wines.
