Marcel Couturier's small estate, located in Fuissé, was recently chosen by Robert Parker as the new Chardonnay icon of the Mâconnais! This elegant Burgundy, from the southern part of Burgundy, comes from over 30-year-old vines that thrive on clay, and marble soils. Its inviting bouquet unfolds a scent reminiscent of white acacia flowers, honeysuckle, tahitian vanilla and toasted toast. On the palate, Chardonnay has a perfect balance of body and precise acidity and freshness, with expressive citrus and stone fruit aromas as well as plenty of elegance and length.
