About the wine

Actually rooted and still affiliated in Welschschweiz, more specifically La Chaux-de-Fonds, the Vuillemez family founded the domain in 2016 with Florent Barday at the helm and advised by Christian Vessaz from Cru Lhôpital, which is close to our hearts. And when you come from the watch industry like Vuillemez, you also bring along a sense of time, an awareness of traditions and the knowledge that details and the moment matter. Half of 14 hectares are freshly planted and were immediately farmed organically - certified organic since 2019. Only in a few years and decades - and that's how long you think ahead here in a relaxed and effortless way - will the vineyards provide the greatest delights. Until then, however, there are still the already old vines, which are usually grown traditionally in barrels, partly in concrete eggs, without any frills. The wines are juicy, generous, noble. Substance and depth instead of loud noise.
