About the wine

Fontanabianca, a home rather than a company. They live here, love here, work here, since 1919, for generations and also together. The children and grandchildren of the founders, Aldo and Matteo Pola in the cellar, Bruno Ferro in the vineyard, are doing the same today as they used to. Perhaps the wines are a little fresher and slimmer, the cellar a little more modern, but that would be all. High prices or points are of no interest here anyway. What counts is the typical taste of the autochthonous varieties, Barbera, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo or Roero Arneis - and I might add - of the autochthonous people. More regionality is not possible, from the simplest wine on. And they are so proud of that. And that's why so popular and famous!
