Fantastic wine with sea bass köfte with avocado tomato salsa.

Khakibos is an unusual blend of Verdelho, Chenin Blanc, Palomino, Alvarinho and Fernão Pires. The Verdelho is grown on coffieklip-rich soils, which are appreciated for their good drainage quality and are anchored on the lower slopes of the Helderberg. The Chenin Blanc comes from an exceptional vineyard in Paarl, the Palomino from the Piekenierskloof on sandstone soils and the Fernão Pires from the gravelly soils along the Breede River. The grapes for the Khakibos White were gently pressed all over and left to ferment naturally in old French oak barrels. After fermentation was complete, the wine aged on the lees for 12 months before being blended and bottled unfiltered.
