The grapes come from Ried Von den Lüssen: in the Middle Ages, land was cultivated together, divided into plots and assigned to the parties involved by drawing lots; in this location, loess soil meets the gravel soil of the neighboring Ried Steinberg, and the vineyard was planted at the beginning of the 1960s. Deep, almost dark-looking scent of yellow fruits, ripe apples, melons, some grapefruit and fresh herbs, strong and full-bodied on the palate, extract-sweet fruit, melty with delicate tobacco notes, round but also fresh due to its acidity. A real all-rounder when it comes to accompanying meals.
