“Redmont” becomes “Göttlesbrunn Rot”. The grapes for this new-old cuvée, but now without Merlot but consisting of around 60% Zweigelt and 40% Blaufränkisch, come from two different vineyards - “Haidacker” and “Altenberg” - in the now newly named town of Göttlesbrunn. These barren soils produce a wine with great structure, fine aromas and a long shelf life. Inviting nose with aromas of dark berries, juicy cherries and plums, delicately spicy with notes of roasted nuts, some tobacco and the finest nougat. Juicy on the palate, with great fruit and again delicate spiciness and silky tannin structure.
