Dark ruby colour with garnet accents. The bouquet is enormously broad and complex, with notes of cherries, dried figs, dark chocolate, white pepper and spices. Thanks to the lively tannins, it is powerful and lush on the palate. The harmonious balance between the alcohol and mineral notes, as well as the typical acidity, makes for a spectacular and long-lasting finish. With good ageing, the Gioé will develop over 15 years.
