Christmas 2022 is just around the corner! Make the most of it with this provocative white wine 2021 — GALIL Yiron Sauvignon Blanc! The winemaker from the Israeli winery Galil Mountain Winery grows this wine in the countryside. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Sauvignon Blanc with fish or mussels.

Tasting note
With its light green color, this white wine reveals fresh aromas of tropical fruits, peaches and fine herbs. The “Galil Yiron Sauvignon Blanc” has a pleasant acidity and a velvety texture.
Culinary recommendation
Great as an appetizer or with spicy Korean lamb ribs, grilled chicken with roasted pineapple as a side dish, or fish curry with coconut milk and rice.
Vinification
The “Galil Mountain Winery” is based on the five vineyards of the Upper Galilee region, which are between 430 and 800m above sea level. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are harvested on a cool night, gently pressed and fermented for three weeks. After fermentation, the juice is aged in steel barrels for several months.
