Depending on the vintage, Mylène Bru produces between 12,000 and 15,000 bottles. The old vines in the hinterland of Sète produce nothing more. Her vineyard has never seen machines before, but the horse that pulls the harrow through the corridors between the sticks and works the herbs and grasses into the barren soil of the 15 small plots. Grape processing is also archaic. Mylène Bru dispenses with everything that modern oenology recommends - no fining, no filtration. The wine becomes the way it becomes: Nature makes it fine, opulent, racy and very complex. A wild blend of Syrah, Carignan and Grenache. Intense and lively, fresh fruit, cherries and red berries, plus spicy notes of pepper and thyme, spirited on the palate, dense, accompanied by a lot of freshness, well-dosed, fine-grained but present tannin. In 2015, Mylène Bru was included in the “Guide des meilleurs vins de France”.
