About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Benanti masters this red wine in the blooming and fertile landscape of Sicily. We have a special, dominant Nerello from 2013 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Nerello with Sicilian pasta dishes or beef goulash.
Tasting note
The vines of the Benanti family stand on barren lava rock of Etna, terraced east towards the strait oriented from Messina, 450 to 900 m above sea level Benanti is limited exclusively to the locals varieties. 80 percent of your Etna Rosso consists of Nerello Mascalese and 20 percent Nerello Cappuccio. After Handpicked, the wine ferments at a controlled temperature and Partially matures after twenty days of maceration in steel tanks, partly in used barriques French oak. The aromas are fresh and fruity with notes of fresh berries. Salty play on the palate Soft enamel accents.

Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Etna Rosso DOC Rosso di Verzella Benanti M.O. Harmoniert bestens mit Rindsgulasch und sizilianischen Pastagerichten. Unsere Empfehlung: Die ideale Trinktemperatur für den Rotwein liegt bei leicht gekühlten 18°-20°C. Im folgenden Zeitraum liegt die empfohlene Genussphase dieses Weins: 3-5 Jahre.
