Because of the soil conditions, the Crozes Hermitage is lighter and tastier than its famous Brother Hermitage. This has the advantage that the wines are ready to be enjoyed even after bottling. They show the typical Syrah aromas of black berry fruit in combination with sophisticated spicy notes. Generous and crisp on the palate, the tannins are velvety. Les Palignons has a good balance of all components and is an uncomplicated classic for many Mediterranean dishes.
