Tasting note
That stays in the memory: Its first-class garnet red lends an extravagant touch to any occasion. Crasto DOC Douro's delicate bouquet of mint, boiled fruits and marmalade shows a complex aroma character and a lot of finesse. The dominant shades of violet, blueberry and plum shape their individual texture. Powerful body and dominant acidity result in the red wine, which shows a lot of character and class with dominant tannins in the mouth.

Vinification
A few words about vinification: Ana RitaVinification TECHNIQUES: Grapes are hand picked and transported to the winery in small plastic crates. Prior to destemming they pass trough conveyor belt in order to carefully select the best quality fruit for the fermentation. The fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks, with temperature control. After 7 days of fermentation the skins are pressed with a basket press in order to extract soft and round tannins. 90% steinless steel tanks. 10% 12 months in French oak barrels
