About the wine
It draws its strength and energy from the slate, loamy soils in Burgundy. The winemaker from the French winery Joseph Drouhin turns it into a real treat with a lot of emotion. With the special Cote de Beaune AC from 2013, you will positively surprise your guests.

Tasting note
The overall impression of this specialty, which is made from the vineyards on the slopes around Beaune and often with a high proportion of grapes from the famous single vineyard CLOS DES MOUCHES, is very positive. The aroma is evidence of great winemaking and is typical: berry fruit (strawberry, raspberry, cherry, a bit of plum) in its purest form. The nose also reveals spicy aromas, notes of forest soil, mushrooms and fine minerality. This is accompanied by a straight, vife structure and a filigree texture. The aftertaste is classic, long and delightful. All in all, this Pinot Noir is a prime example of how Burgundy is also convincing in the cheaper segment.

Goes well with vegetable terrine, veal with cream sauce, sliced veal, chicken breast, poached egg.
