About the wine

Le Tende, the small winery of the Fortuna and Lucillini families, is located very close to Lake Garda. Around 120,000 bottles are produced annually, of which the lion's share is Bardolino and Bianco di Custoza. Mauro Fortuna is responsible for the production and he sees his great challenge in creating Bardolino wines that have more expression and depth than what is commonly sold under this name. Fortuna thus focuses on the Corvina grape, the noblest of the red Verona varieties. His Bardolino, in particular the Superiore, is always a bit more character and expressive than the vast majority of plants that are listed under this name.
