Tasting note
An intense red with purple accents. The bouquet is fruity with aromas of mulberries, strawberry jam and carob. The 18-month ageing gives rise to notes of cedarwood and cocoa. On the palate, a soft and velvety start that is reminiscent of coffee and blackberries. The silky tannins are accompanied by anise notes, Mediterranean herbs and balsamic nuances and end in a long-lasting and spicy finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with meat-based dishes and truffle risotto.
Vinification
18 months in large oak barrels and 500 liter tonneaux.
