Tasting note
On the nose, a seductive, seemingly perfumed bouquet, cherry tones and wild raspberries, finely underlined with herbal notes. On the palate, it offers power and refinement. Fine roasted aromas and ripe, rich tannins. The finish is aromatic, elegant and smooth.
Culinary recommendation
It goes wonderfully with beef — from steaks to stroganoff to tartare or slow-cooked roast from the oven. Wonderful accompaniment to all kinds of stews — whether it's lamb gigot, beef shoulder, roast pork or ossobuco. It goes well with soft cheese — from Camenbert and Brie to Tomme and mild Taleggio.
Vinification
The grapes were picked by hand and fermented in steel tanks after pressing. Aging for 18 months in French barriques with 40% new wood content.
