About the wine
The gravelly, calcareous soils in Burgundy form the breeding ground. The winemaker from the French winery David Moret knows how to use them and delights us with this white wine. Treat yourself and your guests to the senses with the delicious Chassagne-Montrachet AOC from 2015!
Tasting note
First a little closed, almost shy, takes some time to defrost, gain trust, warm wood notes appear timidly, a balsamic fruit right behind them, candied grapefruit, exotic, floral with jasmine and organ blossoms, also a touch of honey. On the palate with a surprising presence, suddenly there, with lots of tension and tension, it makes your mouth water, amazed at the suddenly cheeky shape, it miraculously transforms into a silky, long-lasting, cool creaminess.
Vinification
Without pumping, vinified only with gravity, fermentation with the vineyard's own yeasts and aging in new and used oak barrels, before bottling, also without pumping, the wine rests in steel tanks. No fining, no filtration.
