About the wine
The winemaker from the French winery Domaine de Dionysos greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside of the Côtes du Rhône. With this dominant Hermitage 2016 — Charline Blanc Côtes-du-Rhone AOC, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This hermitage is ideal for an aperitif or vegetable buffers.
Tasting note
Brilliant gold, medium-density with fine green reflections. Intense, exotic aroma, seductive fruit of oranges, grapefruits and honeydew melons, fresh citric accent, spicy-herbal touch. Substance, very long start, on the palate with a rich, smooth harmony and a long finish. The white discovery from the Rhone Valley — elegant and rare.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish, stuffed quails, smoked salmon with cress mousse, potato-coconut soup and vegetarian dishes.
