About the wine
This plot takes its name from the word “Pierre”, which means “stone.” La Perrière was the old French name for a quarry. “Les Preuses” is located on an old Roman road. Over time, “La Pierreuse” became “La Preuse”.
Tasting note
Pale yellow color with golden reflections. The nose is rich yet delicate with mineral, creamy, floral and slightly iodized notes combined with a touch of honey and dried fruit. Wonderfully concentrated on the palate, fine texture, compact, lively, fresh and very noble.

Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand to maintain the quality of the fruit. The grapes are sorted manually on a vibrating sorting table to process only the healthiest fruits. The must is gently drained before it is gently extracted with a pneumatic press to obtain as much flavor as possible. Static cold storage of the musts in stainless steel containers for 12 to 24 hours to obtain a bright, clear juice. Alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation take place spontaneously in stainless steel tanks. Aging for 16 months exclusively in stainless steel containers. The wine is bottled twice before it is bottled at the end of autumn.
