This wine comes from the southernmost winery in Italy! The Azienda Agricola Valle dell'Acate is on the same latitude as Tunis. The Cerasuolo grapes are pressed and vinified separately. The Nero d'Avola is then aged in barriques for 2 months, while the Frappato develops in steel tanks. Only then are the two wines combined and left to rest together in the bottle for 6 months. The bouquet of this wine is pleasantly scented and winey. It has a warm, dry, full, round and well-balanced taste. This wine has a long life expectancy. He gets better and better as he gets older (as it should actually be!) Its bouquet, which is sometimes reminiscent of pomegranates and jasmine, is becoming stronger and more delicate and its taste more full-bodied and velvety.
