Casa del Inca PX DO 2021 - Equipo Navazos

About the wine

Actually, it was a matter between friends, anything but a business. Due to the great enthusiasm for traditional Andalusian wines, during a visit to winemakers in 2005, a few old barrels did not go undiscovered, once bottled, the few bottles were distributed among friends. The wine was beguiling, aroused passion and hunting instinct. Other old barrels were gradually discovered and finally their own wines were created in collaboration with renowned winemakers, always following the great example of traditional Andalusian wines. What is now on the market in small quantities of a few hundred or maybe a few 1000 are true treasures, rare, unique, wine personalities that you won't find anywhere else in the world.

Tasting note
Like opening a hidden treasure trove — the path to immense, sweet wealth is also harsh and adventurous. Sweet idea, but first in the foreground algae, tea, also tar, a touch of salty soy sauce, behind it promises, oh how is the imagination stimulated, freshly ground coffee, juicy dates, but the road is still rocky, chalky. On the palate, the sweet revelation, honeyed, viscous flow, with the weightless fullness and intensity of an oriental dream, Medjool dates, licorice, caramel, tea sweets, the seemingly immeasurably sweet richness surpasses the structure and tart freshness, melts like a sweet on the tongue, never ending. Instead of dessert, especially fascinating from a sherry glass.
Vinification
Vinified at Bodega Pérez Barquero, which has already produced the great releases No 3, 12 and 24, among others. Before vinification, the grapes are dried in the sun. Aging in traditional jugs. Minimal filtration
