The winery's wine list, a selection of the best grapes — 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Cabernet Franc — from the San Biago vineyard. This is slightly elevated in the wooded hills, with fabulous sea views. The Cabernet Franc is harvested first, followed by the Cabernet Sauvignon. The varieties are vinified separately and aged for one year in the best French oak barriques, new and used. This is followed by the blending of the grape varieties and a further maturation period in large barrels and barriques for around twelve months. This wine is a large, harmonious Bolgheri with lots of dark fruit and power, which need not be afraid to compare it with the very best wines in the region.
